The Martha S. Pitzer Center for Women, Children and Youth will welcome Shannon N. Zenk, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN, director of the National Institute of Nursing Research, as its distinguished speaker for its annual lecture and reception. Through her talk, "Moving Upstream: Achieving Equity through Nursing Research and the Social Determinants of Health," Dr. Zenk will share insights on how nursing research can drive progress toward health equity by addressing the social determinants of health.
