SCNPP Curriculum
Time to certificate completion: Three to four semesters
Number of credits: 12 credits
Educational delivery format: The School Nurse Professional Pupil certificate is 12 credit hours with coursework completed online. Students are required to complete 93.75 practicum hours. Practicum hours can be completed at place of employment if currently employed as a School Nurse. If you are not currently employed as a school nurse, our faculty will assist you in finding placement. Most students complete the certificate by taking one class per semester but may have to take two classes in one semester depending on course offerings.

- School Health Roles and Responsibilities (3 credits)
- Management of School Health Services (3 credits)
- Children with Special Needs in Schools (3 credits)
- Practicum in School Nursing (3 credits)
