Faculty focus on increasing understanding of the progression and epidemiology of acute and chronic diseases, developing and implementing evidence-based prevention and treatment strategies, and determining the effect of comorbidities on the pathogenesis and progression of diseases. Faculty are committed to improving health-related outcomes and quality of life across the continuum of care for people with acute and chronic conditions and their family caregivers.
