PCAC Curriculum

Time to certificate completion: Three to four semesters

Number of credits: 12 credits

Educational delivery format: The Primary Care Academic certificate consists of 12 credit hours offered primarily asynchronously. Most students complete the certificate taking one class per semester but may have to take two classes in one semester depending on course offerings.

  • RN Practice in Primary Care (3 credits)
  • Care Coordination and Transition in Care (3 credits)
Elective Coursework Options (select two):
  • RN Practice in Primary Care and Substance Use Disorder (3 credits)
  • Evidence-based Health Coaching in Interprofessional Practice (3 credits)
  • Telehealth Assessment and Management in Primary Care (3 credits)
