Homecoming Weekend

Greetings alumni! The Ohio State University College of Nursing and Nursing Alumni Society - along with students, faculty and staff - look forward to welcoming you back to campus this fall for Homecoming. Graduates from years ending in "6" or "1" will be honored this year. Not a milestone year? All alumni and guests are welcome to join the fun.

Registration

Registration opens Friday, June 12, and closes Friday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. ET.

Football tickets

The Department of Athletics will provide a College of Nursing link to purchase Homecoming football tickets. This ticket block will be available summer 2026.

Ohio State will employ mobile-only ticketing for all events moving forward, enabling contactless entry into Ohio Stadium and other athletics venues. Offering greater convenience and safety, fans can access their ticket online, transfer to family and friends, utilize Buckeyes TicketExchange or donate tickets to charity. College of Nursing Class Giving Challenge

Each year, individuals in classes celebrating their reunion — this year it’s 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021 — give back to honor the anniversary of their College of Nursing education.

In addition to, or in lieu of, attending your reunion on Oct. 9-10, we hope you will join your classmates in supporting your class gift. Your generosity helps the college meet ever-changing opportunities and challenges through innovative programming, student financial support, career services and more.

Guided tours showcasing the Technology Learning Complex and Innovation Studio.

Coffee with Leadership

Demo Kitchen
Enjoy refreshments and time with College of Nursing leadership.

Time to refresh, regroup and prepare for evening festivities.

State of College Address

Dean Rose will highlight recent accomplishments and share her vision for the future.

Reception

A reception will follow the State of the College Address.

50th Anniversary Dinner (invite only)

6:30 to 8 p.m.
Thompson Library, 11th Floor Reading Room
A special dinner honoring the 50th reunion class. Business casual attire encouraged.

Buckeye Nursing Pregame Huddle

$25 for adults and $15 for children age 12 and under
Join nursing alumni and guests for the annual pregame huddle before the Buckeyes take on Maryland.

What is included in the Nursing Alumni Society tailgate?: Join nursing alumni and friends and enjoy a buffet, bar and live music.
How else can I learn about what else is happening Homecoming weekend?: The Alumni Association provides additional details about other weekend activities around campus.
What do I wear?: While there is no dress code, we encourage you to wear scarlet and gray. You can refer to photos from Homecoming 2025 for ideas. If you will attend the tailgate, please dress accordingly for the day’s weather.
