Research Interests
Dr. Jodi McDaniel’s nursing research career began in the operating room where she became fascinated with the intricacies of wound healing. Dr. McDaniel’s program of research addresses the molecular mechanisms of chronic wound states and specifically, whether omega-3 fatty acids have the ability to facilitate the healing of chronic wounds.

INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the nation’s oldest and largest diversity-focused magazine and website in higher education, honored The Ohio State University College of Nursing today with its ninth consecutive Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award.
The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (aBSN) program is for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field who want to pursue a career in nursing. Two current students, Alix Aboussouan and Meng Zhang, told us about their experiences in the program.
