2024 Caregiving Conference: Components of Quality Dementia Care

This full-day event will focus on local and national initiatives related to quality dementia care. Keynote speaker Gary Epstein-Lubow, MD, associate professor at Brown University and a health services investigator and geriatric psychiatrist in Rhode Island, will provide a history of efforts to improve access to comprehensive dementia care and introduce the newly launched CMS Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model. The conference will bring together experts and practitioners to explore critical topics, innovative programs and strategies that enhance support for caregivers and individuals living with dementia.
The event is free to attend in Columbus. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
4.75 nursing CEs will be provided for engagement in this event in Columbus. The Ohio State University College of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
