Meet OSU Spidey
Your friendly neighborhood RN Phillip Re started appearing around campus as “OSU Spidey” as a College of Nursing student. Now an RN at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, he uses his Instagram account to spread wellness messages and is still seen performing random acts of kindness in the neighborhood. Here, he shares some timely wellness advice:
The world has changed greatly in just a few short years. It is easy to view the drastic changes negatively, but the most important part about change is how we choose to embrace it. I challenge you all to look past how change will hinder your lives and look toward the silver lining that is found in all life’s challenges. Strive to look for what each change will bring out of you and how you can act in response to change to better yourself. What can you do to improve your overall wellness, the wellness of those around you and the wellness of those who will be standing where you stand 10, 20, 50 or 100 years from now? We have the power to transform our lives and the lives of others. Through positivity and kindness, we have the power to transform the health of the world and to lay the foundations for generations to come.
