The Ohio State University College of Nursing has reduced the number of prerequisites for admission to the online RN to BSN program. This change means that students are now required to take chemistry, microbiology, anatomy, biology and english prior to acceptance into our program.
Six beauty salons and barber shops in the Mt. Vernon area on the east side of Columbus are partnering with The Ohio State University College of Nursing to host free health screenings for adults on Friday and Saturday, April 6 and 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. thanks to the Barbers and Beauticians Who Care program. No appointment is necessary for adults in the area to receive screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar and stress.

For the first time, The Ohio State University College of Nursing ranked in the nation's top 10 for master’s and undergraduate online education, according to 2015 rankings by U.S. News and World Report, announced today.
Ohio State’s online master’s programs in nursing jumped to sixth in the nation for 2015, from 32nd in 2014 and 47th in 2013. Rankings were based on student engagement, faculty credentials and training, peer reputation, student services and technology and admissions selectivity.
