MCR Admissions Timeline
This timeline is specific to applicants to the MCR program and is meant to provide an overview of what to expect from the admissions process once you have submitted your application. Dates may be approximate and are subject to change. If you have any questions about the application process, please email us.
Deadline:
Spring: July 31
Summer: November 30
Autumn: March 1
The application and all materials must be submitted. You can track the status of your application through your applicant center. The application status will show as “pending” until a decision is made. Ohio State graduate transfer applicants can track their application status by emailing nursing@osu.edu.
Decision:
Spring: End of October
Summer: Mid-February
Autumn: Mid-May
Most applicants will have a decision posted to their applicant center. All applicants, including Ohio State graduate transfer applicants, will be notified of their admission decision via email. Admitted students will receive a virtual admissions packet to guide next steps.
Accept: Two weeks post decision
All admitted students will have two weeks after the decision notification to accept their offer online. Students who do not respond their admission by the deadline will have their offer cancelled.
Orientation and Transformation Day:
Specific dates will be shared in the virtual admissions packet after admission decisions are posted. Orientation will be offered in a virtual format through Zoom.
Classes begin
The first days of autumn, spring and summer semesters can be found on the Registrar's website. Tuition and fee payments are due one week prior to the start of the semester.
