Online RN to BSN program improves prerequisite requirements

The Ohio State University College of Nursing has reduced the number of prerequisites for admission to the online RN to BSN program. This change means that students are now required to take chemistry, microbiology, anatomy, biology and english prior to acceptance into our program. The anatomy and biology requirement can be met with six or more credits of anatomy, physiology and biology.

These prerequisite changes are more in line with the typical curriculum offered in an associate degree in nursing program. For more information, you can view our prerequisites webpage.

Applications for autumn 2018 are open now, and the new prerequisite requirements will apply to this admission cycle.

Our online RN to BSN program offers personalized attention, quality coursework, curriculum steeped in evidence-based practice and a focus on your personal wellness. Plus, Ohio State’s online bachelor’s programs were ranked No. 1 in the country according to U.S. News & World Report.

It’s time to advance your nursing career. The deadline to apply for autumn 2018 is June 30.
