U.S. News & World Report also names online bachelor’s among nation’s very best

U.S. News & World Report released new rankings for online academic programs today that, for the first time, place The Ohio State University College of Nursing’s online master’s in nursing degree program at #1 in the country for 2022.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – U.S. News & World Report ranked The Ohio State University College of Nursing’s online Master of Science in Nursing program #2 in the country for the second year in a row and #1 among public institutions in new rankings released today.

The Ohio State University College of Nursing has reduced the number of prerequisites for admission to the online RN to BSN program. This change means that students are now required to take chemistry, microbiology, anatomy, biology and english prior to acceptance into our program.

Advanced practice nurses (APRNs) now have an online option to comply with Ohio House Bill 216. The Ohio State University College of Nursing has developed two online courses: advanced pharmacology across the lifespan and advanced neonatal pharmacology. APRNs may choose the course that best suits their needs according to the population they serve.
