Traditional Master's Admissions Timeline
This timeline is specific to applicants for the 2022 application cycle and is meant to provide an overview of what to expect from the admissions process once you have submitted your application. Dates may be approximate and are subject to change. If you have questions about the application process, please email us.
Deadline: October 31
The application and all materials must be submitted. You can track the status of your application through your Applicant Center. The application status will show as “pending” until a decision is posted. Ohio State graduate transfer applicants can track their application status by emailing email@example.com.
Decision: Late February
Most applicants will have a decision posted to their Applicant Center. Graduate transfer applicants will be notified of their admission decision via email. All applicants will be notified of their application decision via email. Admitted students will receive a Virtual Admissions Packet to guide next steps.
Accept: Four weeks post decision
All admitted students will have four weeks after the decision notification to accept their offer online. During this four week period, Students offered admission may attend a Spring Graduate Program Open House in late February to learn more about the college and to help them in the decision to accept their offer.
Requirements: August 1
Admitted students must complete the following:
- A conferred BSN degree
- A valid, unrestricted RN license
- Students participating in an on-campus specialty must provide proof of Ohio RN licensure
- Students participating in a distance learning specialty must provide proof of RN licensure in the state where they anticipate clinicals will be performed
Orientation and Transformation Day will be held on Ohio State's campus.
Classes begin: August 23
Autumn 2022 courses begin. Tuition and fee payments are due one week prior to the start of the semester.
