College leads Ohio and Big Ten in federal research support

New rankings measuring National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant funding among schools of nursing nationwide show that The Ohio State University College of Nursing has risen to No. 6 in the nation and No. 1 among Ohio schools of nursing for fiscal year 2025, reinforcing its position as a national leader in nursing research.

These are common titles for Community Health Workers (CHW), members of the health care team serving as trusted community members to improve access to care and healthcare outcomes. CHWs focus on factors that influence health such as access to healthy food, employment, housing and environmental safety so they can work to remove barriers and help those they serve achieve optimal health.
