Kathryn Conrad
Kathryn Conrad is an instructor of clinical practice. She has been at The Ohio State University College of Nursing since 2000 and is currently clinical coordinator and clinical instructor in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing course.
Conrad is passionate about the clinical instruction of undergraduate nursing students and her clinical areas of expertise include therapeutic communication, health promotion, and trauma informed care.
Conrad received her BS in 1990 and her MS from The Ohio State University College of Nursing in 1993. Honors include being inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (1993) and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi (1993). She is also a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (1992).

Hyeryeong Lee, a first-year PhD student from South Korea, previously worked in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), caring for critically ill children.
The children and nurses in the PICU inspired her. “One particularly memorable moment was when a child who had been hospitalized in the PICU for a long time stopped by the PICU to say hello to us in good health after being discharged. The moment truly supported the impact of our work and brought me joy,” Lee said.
Research aims to identify interventions for young breast cancer survivors
