The American Journal of Nursing (AJN) announced that Bernadette Melnyk's edited book Intervention Research: Designing, Conducting, Analyzing, and Funding received first place in its AJN 2012 Book of the Year award for nursing research. Several College of Nursing faculty co-authored, including Usha Menon, Donna McCarthy, Kim Arcoleo and Laura Szalacha.

Arcoleo appointed to Journal of Asthma editorial board

Kimberly Arcoleo, PhD, MPH, director of the Center for Promoting Health in Infants, Children, Adolescents and Women (PHICAW) and associate professor at The Ohio State University College of Nursing, has been appointed to the editorial board of the Journal of Asthma. She is the second member from a nursing college to serve on this national editorial board; her term begins December 2012.<
