Coping with COVID-19

As we continue to deal with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is time to invest more than ever in self-care. Schedule a little time for self-recovery every day, and try to release stress as often as possible.

This acronym may help you remember all the things you can do to keep yourself healthy and well:
- Control the things that you can, not the things you can’t.
- Open up and share your feelings.
- Practice daily stress reduction tactics, including physical activity.
- Engage in mindfulness. Be here now: worry will not help!
- Count your blessings daily.
- Overturn negative thoughts to positive.
- Volunteer to help others.
- Identify helpful supports and resources.
- Do your part to prevent the spread of the virus.
