Linnea Fletcher
A certified emergency nurse and a trauma certified registered nurse, Dr. Linnea Fletcher has been a registered nurse for more than 25 years and continues to practice clinically in the emergency department. Recognizing the importance of patient-centered, holistic practice, Dr. Fletcher completed a graduate certificate in health and wellness coaching in December 2020 and is certified as a national board-certified health and wellness coach. In her continued quest for wellness, she has also reached the level of reiki master.
Dr. Fletcher has demonstrated expertise in education and clinical practice. Her dedication and passion for nursing education has been recognized by students and colleagues. In 2019, students honored her as Clinical Instructor of the Year, and in 2020 she was chosen to receive the Ohio State College of Nursing Outstanding Teacher Award. Her teaching strategies incorporate leadership principles and engagement in wellness for clinicians in highly chaotic settings.
Dr. Fletcher earned her doctorate in education from Northern Kentucky University. Her dissertation focused on fatigue in undergraduate nursing students.

Full-time program can be completed in as few as 18 months
A new program at The Ohio State University College of Nursing is helping students with a degree and an interest in a career in health care reach their goals at an accelerated pace.
The college launched the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (aBSN) program in 2024 for students who have finished college in a non-nursing field but desire to have a career in nursing. The full-time program can be completed in as few as 18 months.
