Seven specialty tracks in six different programs accepting apps until March 1
The Ohio State University College of Nursing has opened a second application window in the month of February for prospective students interested in pursuing master’s or doctoral education.
Here are the programs and specializations available:
- For full-time traditional Master of Science (MS) degree, full-time Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Post-Master’s Study Option*:
- Pediatric Acute Care NP
- Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP
- Neonatal NP
- For part-time traditional MS degree and part-time BSN to DNP:
- Pediatric Primary Care NP
- Pediatric Acute Care NP
- Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP
- Neonatal NP
- Psychiatric Mental Health NP
- Family NP (on-campus only)
- Graduate Entry degree program:
- Pediatric Primary Care NP
- Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP
- Psychiatric Mental Health NP
- Family NP (on-campus only)
- Neonatal NP
“The world needs more confident, capable and caring nurses and healthcare leaders, and this second application window allows more prospective students to enhance their education and expertise,” said Kristy Browning, PhD, APRN-CNP, FAANP, assistant dean for graduate clinical programs and clinical professor at the College of Nursing. “Our world-class faculty and staff are ready to support and inspire more students to answer their calling to care in all of these vitally-important specializations.”
Completed applications for this second application window are due on March 1.
*The Post-Master’s Study Option is not a degree-bearing program. It is available to practicing, master’s-prepared nurses seeking an advance specialty certification or a second specialty certification.
