Candy Rinehart, DNP, FNP, ADM-BC, FAANP, will be honored with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) 2017 State Award for Nurse Practitioner Excellence at an award ceremony and reception held during the AANP 2017 National Conference June 20-25, 2017, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The State Award for Nurse Practitioner Excellence was founded in 1991 to recognize a nurse practitioner (NP) in each state who demonstrates excellence in practice.
Rinehart serves as the executive director of advanced practice and community partnerships at The Ohio State University and an NP and director of Ohio State Total Health & Wellness, a comprehensive primary care practice at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, University Hospital East.
AANP is the largest professional membership organization for NPs of all specialties.
