New funding opportunity available for PhD students

The Ohio State University College of Nursing opened applications cycles today for its master’s and doctoral programs, just as its renowned PhD program announced a new, four-year funding opportunity for four full-time students.

Thomas Lawson’s “Three Minute Thesis” presentation on delirium in stroke patients moves on to regional competition

The Graduate School at The Ohio State University named Thomas Lawson, a PhD candidate in the College of Nursing, as the winner this week of the 2021-22 university-wide Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition. As the winner, he will move forward to the regional competition of the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools.

A continuing NIH T32 training grant awarded to The Ohio State University College of Nursing from the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Nursing Research (NIH/NINR) will support the training of pre-doctoral students studying health development across the life course. PhD students in nursing will conduct research while working closely with 24 faculty from nursing, sociology, emergency medicine and pediatric medicine.
