MHI Admissions Timeline
This timeline is specific to applicants for the 2024 application cycle and is meant to provide an overview of what to expect from the admissions process once you have submitted your application. Dates may be approximate and are subject to change. If you have questions about the application process, please email us.
Deadline: March 1
The application and all materials must be submitted. You can track the status of your application through your Applicant Center. The application status will show as “pending” until a decision is posted. Graduate transfer applicants can track their application status by emailing nursing@osu.edu.
Decision: Mid-May
Most applicants will have a decision posted to their Applicant Center. All applicants, including Ohio State graduate transfer applicants, will be notified of their admission decision via email. Admitted students will receive a virtual admissions packet to guide next steps.
Accept: Four weeks post decision
All admitted students will have four weeks after the decision notification to accept their offer online. Students who do not respond to their admission by the deadline will have their offer cancelled.
Orientation: Mid-August
A specific date and more details on orientation will be included in the Virtual Admissions Packet.
Classes begin: August 20
Tuition and fee payments are due one week prior to the start of the semester. Please reference your Statement of Account through BuckeyeLink for more details.
