Returning Student Compliance

Students must maintain a compliant status while enrolled at the College of Nursing.

Returning students receive a list of compliance requirements to complete in order to attend classes. Two types of documentation are needed:

  • medical documentation
  • certifications and trainings

All medical documentation is submitted, tracked and verified through Wilce Student Health Center. Requirement deadlines are specific to each program, curriculum plan and mode of instruction. Students are considered noncompliant if one or more requirements are not fulfilled. Noncompliant students are prohibited from attending clinical and health assessment.

This page is a central resource for compliance requirements across our programs. Not all requirements apply to every student.

Maintaining compliance

Beacon provides a personalized summary of compliance requirements and deadlines.

Risk of noncompliance

Students are responsible for ensuring their clinical compliance requirements do not lapse during their time in the program. The Office of Student Affairs and Success will send email notifications to noncompliant and at-risk students. An at-risk status indicates a compliance requirement will expire soon. Students must take immediate action upon receiving a compliance notification.

Instructions

Only complete the items listed as incomplete in Beacon. If a requirement does not appear in Beacon, no action is needed.

Important: This page includes requirements for multiple programs. Only complete items that appear as incomplete in Beacon. If you were directed here from Beacon, it means one or more items need your attention. Beacon is the official system that shows exactly which requirements apply to you and what is currently incomplete.

Compliance status is updated only after documentation is submitted correctly and fully processed. Processing may take up to 8-10 business days during peak periods.
