Division of Nursing and Health Science

The Division of Nursing and Health Science (DNHS) is home to a diverse community of nurse scientists and health researchers advancing discovery across the lifespan. Division faculty lead nationally and internationally recognized programs of research that address critical health challenges, from maternal-infant health to complex care and aging, and everything in between.

Through rigorous science, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strong partnerships with patients, families, clinicians, health systems and communities, DNHS faculty generate evidence that improves health and healthcare. Faculty serve as principal investigators, leaders of collaborative research teams, mentors to future scientists, and trusted partners in translating research into practice, policy and measurable health improvement.

As the College of Nursing's research-intensive faculty division, DNHS brings together experts in clinical, behavioral, implementation, population and health services research who contribute unique perspectives to multidisciplinary research teams across The Ohio State University and beyond.
