A faster path through our LPN to BSN program

When you enroll, Ohio State awards 20 credit hours for your prior LPN education through Industry Transfer Assurance Guide credit. This means you can complete your degree in just two years of full-time study.

Our LPN to BSN program offers a flexible mix of online learning and in-person experience. You will take core courses online, so you can stay on track while balancing work and life. At the same time, you will build hands-on skills through labs and clinical training in Columbus, Ohio. 

Clinical experiences are a key part of this program. You will train in healthcare settings across Columbus and central Ohio. These experiences give you access to diverse patient populations and real-world care teams. By the time you graduate, you will be prepared to lead, collaborate and deliver high-quality care as a registered nurse.

Admission requirements for LPN to BSN program

  • Graduate from an LPN program with a GPA of 2.5 or recent college work with a 2.75 or higher (good standing with Ohio State)
  • Possess Ohio unencumbered LPN license
  • Be 18 years of age by the first clinical course
  • Submit official transcripts
  • Complete prerequisites with a grade of C or higher
