Program overview

Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners provide primary care for adolescents through older adults, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of acute and chronic conditions. They practice in outpatient settings such as internal medicine offices, community health centers, long-term care, and specialty clinics.

Ranked No. 5 nationally and No. 2 among public institutions by U.S. News & World Report, Ohio State’s program offers evidence-based training with expert faculty and preceptors.
