Student Involvement
Student groups provide opportunities to build leadership skills, connect with peers and faculty, and explore interests in nursing beyond the classroom. Get involved to strengthen your sense of belonging, support your well-being and open doors to mentorship and career opportunities.
The local chapter of the National Student Nurses Association connects students with peers, prepares them for careers, and promotes the nursing profession. The chapter is actively seeking membership from undergraduate nursing students. Local chapter members must join the national organization at NSNA and can join the state organization at OhSNA. Learn about the benefits of joining the NSNA.

As future nurse midwives we have an exciting career ahead of us serving birthing people and their families. To prepare us for this challenging and rewarding future, school demands a lot of learning and hard work. Through this student organization we would like to create a network of support for current and future classes of midwives. We intend to provide opportunities to connect and network; a safe place to share experiences; service opportunities focused on birthing people, families, and infants' health; expanded learning opportunities regarding our future career; and a place where we can come together and be able to relax and have fun in what can be a very difficult and stressful program.
