Biography
Dr. Joyce Zurmehly has been educating undergraduate and graduate students for more than 25 years. Dr. Zurmehly’s leadership and policy contributions focus on Evidence-Informed Health Policy (EIHP) in education and practice. Dr. Zurmehly’s leadership and EIHP work values the importance of practice-education partnerships to promote excellence in patient outcomes. In academic and organizational collaboratives, she has led initiatives resulting in evidence informed regulatory outcomes and received recognition for leadership in policy development. Her work advances the nursing profession and serves the public through evidence-informed health policy, educational innovation and practice.
