Brain Health Fair offers free screenings, expert advice for healthy living
Fifth annual event to be held Sept. 25
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Alliance for Diversity in Brain Health for the Central Ohio Community (ADHOC) will host its fifth annual Brain Health Fair Friday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gillie Center, 2100 Morse Road. All activities and events are free, refreshments will be provided, and registration is not required.
The fair will offer memory and blood pressure screenings, brain-healthy nutrition information, exercise demonstrations, giveaways and more. Attendees can connect with local vendors, area organizations and experts focused on aging and health.
ADHOC is a collaboration between the Alzheimer's Association’s Central Ohio Chapter, the African American Alzheimer's and Wellness Association, and The Ohio State University College of Nursing. ADHOC works to build bridges to reduce disparities in the Alzheimer's disease and related dementia community through education, support and research. Through this initiative, ADHOC continues its mission to promote brain health through blood pressure control, mindfulness, movement and healthy nutrition.
