Tia Patterson

Biography

Dr. Tia Patterson pursues her passion for developing learning in adults both in the classroom and in the clinical research industry. She has served as a faculty member in higher education since 2008 across multiple universities and has worked in the clinical research space for more than 20 years.

This Master of Clinical Research (MCR) program faculty member also works in industry for a biotech company leading clinical operations. She utilizes practical experience to provide a realistic learning space that meets learners where they are and elevates their understanding of the field. Dr. Patterson recognizes the critical role of clinical research in advancing medical treatment and believes in the MCR program’s goals of ensuring that the people who carry out the highly-regulated pre-approval process for new medical devices, drugs and biologics are equipped with the skills and knowledge to do so.
