Biography
Dr. Holly J. Jones is an advanced practice nurse, nurse scientist and associate professor at The Ohio State University College of Nursing. Dr. Jones earned her PhD in nursing from the University of California San Francisco with a focus in symptoms management and stress. Her research lies at the intersection of chronic stress, symptom expression and chronic health conditions in midlife women. Drawing on her expertise in disease prevention and community-engaged research, Dr. Jones co-developed a novel, culturally tailored intervention aimed at reducing cardiovascular disease risk among midlife Black women, a population disproportionately affected by illness and death. Dr. Jones is committed to leading and collaborating in research that improves the health of women across the lifespan.
