Enrolling as a graduate non-degree student
Graduate non-degree students are admitted to the university but not to a specific degree-granting graduate program. Non-degree study is maintained by Graduate and Professional Admissions.
Students may wish to take graduate-level, non-degree course work for a variety of reasons, including:
- personal enrichment
- professional development
- to familiarize themselves with the rigors of a graduate program before applying
- to gain graduate credit to be applied to a degree program at another college or university
Enrolling in courses
Admitted graduate non-degree students must submit the graduate non-degree enrollment request form for each section or course. The submitted form will be sent to the instructor for review.
If permission is granted, students will be placed on the internal waitlist, managed by the College of Nursing registrar. Students will receive an email from the college registrar confirming waitlist placement along with additional information related to the enrollment process.
