New MS in Nursing offers pathway to healthcare leadership

The Ohio State University College of Nursing has launched the Master of Science (MS) in Nursing Leadership and Strategy in Healthcare, offering BSN-prepared nurses the opportunity to lead teams, strengthen healthcare systems and drive meaningful organizational change.

In this video, director of the program, Penny Gorsuch, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, EBP-C, FACHE, USAF Col (ret), shares how the program prepares nurses to think strategically, navigate complex healthcare environments and make an impact within their organizations.

Designed for working professionals, the online program combines leadership education with real-world experiences to help nurses advance their careers and lead change across healthcare.

Applications are now open for the spring and autumn 2027 cohorts, with a deadline of Nov. 16, 2026.
