Lewy Body Dementia Patient and Caregiving Companion Support Groups

Overview

These support groups are conducted by trained facilitators to create a safe place for people living with dementia and their caregivers to:

• develop a support system
• exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions
• talk though issues and ways of coping
• share feelings, needs and concerns
• learn about community resources

This event hosts two support groups concurrently; the caregiver group and the patient group meet in separate rooms.
