College adopts new mission, vision, values

College of Nursing clinical instructor Stephanie Justice, who works in the college's Technology Learning Complex (TLC), was recently profiled in a large feature in The Columbus Dispatch. The article focused on Justice's expertise in moulage, the art of applying mock injuries for training purposes.

Nurse practitioners and nurse practitioner advocates, recipients of the prestigious American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) 2018 State Award for Excellence, will be honored at an awards ceremony and reception held during the AANP 2018 National Conference June 26-July 1, 2018, in Denver, Colorado. Kate Gawlik, DNP, RN, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, of Columbus, Ohio, will be among the recipients honored. 

Local businesses partner with Ohio State College of Nursing to offer Free health screenings

Six beauty salons and barber shops in the Mt. Vernon area on the east side of Columbus are partnering with The Ohio State University College of Nursing to host free health screenings for adults on Friday and Saturday, April 6 and 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. thanks to the Barbers and Beauticians Who Care program. No appointment is necessary for adults in the area to receive screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar and stress.
