American Association of Colleges of Nursing recognizes innovative approach to care
The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) today honored The Ohio State University College of Nursing with its 2021 Innovations in Professional Nursing Education Award for the creation and execution of its Telehealth Wellness Hub and Wellness Partner Program. This award recognizes the outstanding work of AACN member schools to re-envision traditional models for nursing education and lead programmatic change.
HEED Award recognizes outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion
For the sixth year in a row, The Ohio State University College of Nursing has received the Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education.

August 4, 2021 (Washington, DC) — The American Academy of Nursing (Academy) announced today that it has selected 225 distinguished nurse leaders to be inducted into the 2021 Class of Fellows. The inductees will be recognized for their significant contributions to health and health care at the Academy’s annual Health Policy Conference, taking place on October 7-9, 2021.
