Dana Wade received her BSN from Valdosta State University (Valdosta, GA), MSN from University of Akron, and DNP from Ohio State University.   She has more than 30 years in the healthcare industry, Wade specializes in clinical performance improvement and has extensive leadership and management experience in nursing quality, quality and patient safety, nursing practice, ANCC nursing recognition programs, accreditation, cardiology, and cardiac rehabilitation.  She most recently held the position of ACNO, Nursing Quality and Practice for the Cleveland Clinic Healthcare System.  Throughout her career, she has supported advanced education as a clinical preceptor for students from varying backgrounds which have included exercise technology from Texas A&M, nursing students from NEO Colleges of Nursing, co-instructed 3rd year medical students on teamwork and safety, and is currently lecturing in the OSU DNP and Master of Healthcare Innovation Programs. Dana is a member of AONE and holds certifications as an Advanced Nursing Executive, Professional in Healthcare Quality and Clinical Nurse Specialist.
