Lucia Jenkusky joined the College of Nursing in 2012. She teaches in the Midwifery and Women's Health graduate program.
Education
Lucia Jenkusky earned her BSN from The Ohio State University and her MS in Midwifery from State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Clinical Practice
Lucia has 15 years of midwifery experience. She was the co-founder and owner of Birth and Beyond Midwifery Practice in Oneonta, NY before returning to Ohio.
Lucia was the first midwife at Nationwide Children's Hospital and facilitated the first Centering Pregnancy group in the Teen and Pregnant Program. She is the Director of Midwifery Services and practicing Certified Nurse Midwife at Nationwide Children's Hospital in the Teen and Pregnant Program.
Professional Service/Membership
Lucia is a member of The American College of Nurse-Midwives and serves as the Secretary of the Southern Ohio Chapter of The American College of Nurse Midwives. She is also a member of the Council for Ohio Health Care Advocacy.
