Kathryn Conrad
Kathryn Conrad, MS, RN, is an instructor of clinical practice. She has been at The Ohio State University College of Nursing since 2000 and is currently clinical coordinator and clinical instructor in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing course.
Kathryn is passionate about the clinical instruction of undergraduate nursing students and her clinical areas of expertise include therapeutic communication, health promotion, and trauma informed care.
Kathryn received her BS in 1990 and her MS from The Ohio State University College of Nursing in 1993. Honors include being inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (1993) and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi (1993). She is also a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (1992).

Initiative recognized as Program of Excellence by University Outreach and Engagement
The Community Health Worker (CHW) Training Program, an initiative within The Ohio State University College of Nursing that has grown into one of the largest programs of its kind in Ohio, received the designation of 2024 Program of Excellence in Engaged Scholarship this month from the university’s Office of Outreach and Engagement.
U.S. News & World Report also ranked the college’s DNP among the nation’s top 20 again
